英语翻译是双向的，既包括英译汉，也包括汉译英就我自己的经历来说，一、英译汉的问题1、词汇量不够，有些生词是你推断不出来的，词汇不仅有深度还有广度；2、句型不熟，有一些特定的句型有着特定的内涵；3、不熟悉俚语或者谚语；4、受到自己的思维限制，用自己的思维去想英语的句子是不地道的；5、英语语法问题，英语也是很讲究语法的，不懂语法的话就分不清这主从句，也分不清主谓宾定状补等等；二、汉译英的问题1、固定思维，中国式的英语是最明显的，举一个例子，挺搞笑的，中国的天天向上被直译成“daydayup”也许中国强大以后，这种中国式的英语可能会被接受，但是，现在时机未到；2、不会熟练的运用和变换句型；3、翻译文章时，不了解西方人写文章的整体思路；4、不懂得怎么翻译一些俚语和谚语；。
